Our Story

Mario Albert grew up with the odds stacked against him. Without a father figure, he faced challenges that most young boys shouldn't have to endure. Despite the hardships, Mario was determined to make something of himself. He became known for his resilience and his ability to never give up on anything. During that time he learned very hard lessons in like while hanging out with friends at the local theaters or making memories running the streets and growing up on the west side of San Jose California.

As he grew older, Mario realized that his true calling was much bigger than himself. Mario's experiences fueled his passion for helping others, especially children who, like him, grew up without a father. He saw firsthand the impact that a lack of support could have on a child's life, and he knew he had to do something about it. So, he founded Fathers for Lost Sons and Daughters of America Inc. (FLSDA) in 2019, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children without fathers, whether due to military service, incarceration, or other circumstances. Under Mario's leadership, FLSDA has grown into a beacon of hope for countless families. His dedication to the cause is unwavering, driven by his desire to give every child the support and opportunities they deserve.

Despite his responsibilities as a father to 2 children of his own, Mario pours his heart into the organization, knowing that every effort he makes can change a child's life. Mario’s story is one of triumph over adversity, and his work through FLSDA is a testament to his belief that every child deserves to feel loved, supported, and valued. Through his nonprofit, Mario has created a legacy that will impact generations to come, proving that with determination, compassion, and Gods Grace anything is possible.
